Theme: A symbolic funeral for our club - a coffin will be carried at the front of the march.
Dress code: Black and gold – our protest colours.
Bring: Banners, flags, and pyro.
Guest speakers: Sheffield MPs and other voices fighting for our club.
Route: Through Hillsborough Park.
We understand many supporters have chosen to stop purchasing tickets, merchandise, and food & drink from the club – but still want to be part of the protest.
If this is the case, stay in Hillsborough Park after the march and once the game kicks off. We're working on ways to make this impactful – including the possibility of airing live match commentary.
This is about individual choice — in the ground or outside, we are all Wednesday. Please respect each other's views, and let's stick together in this fight.
The Trust is aware that supporters are organising a whistle protest. While this has not been arranged by the Trust, we recognise that many fans are feeling angry at this time, and we fully respect the right to protest — provided it is done safely and within the law.
If you choose to take part, please limit whistle use to the first five minutes of the game.
This will ensure the protest is clearly seen and heard, while avoiding disruption — such as match abandonment — that could lead to the club being punished.
After this, we encourage everyone to get behind the team and give our players 100% support for the remainder of the match.
The club have contacted us about this and are aware of our position.
As a reminder, the Trust currently strongly opposes any attempt to enter the field of play and urges all supporters not to do so under any circumstances.
During the 19th minute, we ask all supporters to join in a minute's applause to honour Bailey Chadwick, a devoted 19-year-old Wednesday fan who tragically lost his life. Football transcends everything, and we stand united in memory of one of our own.
Rest in Peace, Bailey. 💙🦉
Full details of timings, routes, and logistics will be shared throughout the week. Keep an eye on Trust channels for confirmed plans.
This is about more than football. This is about our history, our community, and our future.
Whether you march, remain in the park, or protest in the stands – we are all part of the same fight.
Together, we can show the nation that we will not let our club die.
Black and Gold. For the love of Wednesday.
