He quickly became a season ticket holder and a passionate Wednesdayite.

Work-wise Paul had a varied career as a senior manager in both the public and voluntary sectors. His last post before retiring in March 2025 was spending eight years as Head of Customer Services with Sheffield City Council. Paul has extensive experience in media work (both in his work and in respect of Wednesday), in involvement in fundraising initiatives, and in ensuring effective communication.

As the Trust’s Community Director Paul is passionate about working to help further embed and develop Sheffield Wednesday’s - and the Supporters Trust’s - important place in the local and wider community.

Kelly Barrett - EDI Officer

Proud Wednesdayite, EDI Director for the SWFC Supporters Trust, and currently the Trust’s lone female board member, but fear not I’m on a mission to rope in more women, even if I have to drag them in by the scarf. I’m all about creating a fan culture where everyone feels welcome, included, and able to cheer their hearts out in classic Wednesday fashion, loud and proud. Alongside championing fairness and boosting supporters’ voices, I’m proudly pushing for a more diverse, representative Wednesday that reflects every corner of our community because a brighter, bolder, Better Wednesday isn’t just possible . . . it’s happening

Jake Lee

Jake first got involved with the Trust after helping to organise early protests against the club’s recently departed owner. Since then, he’s served on the board through one of the most challenging and emotional chapters in Sheffield Wednesday’s modern history.

Jake has helped lead large-scale fan campaigns, protests, and fundraising efforts. These days, his focus is on bringing supporters together to provide financial backing and practical help as the club works its way through administration.

Jake’s love for Wednesday started early — his first game at Hillsborough was as a four-year-old, hand-in-hand with his family. That day began a lifelong bond rooted in community, belonging, and the belief that supporters are the true heartbeat and guardians of the club. It’s that belief that drives everything he does with the Trust: fighting for transparency, accountability, and a real voice for fans in the club’s future.

Away from football, Jake is a director of a Mechanical & Electrical Services company. His day job in project management and leadership gives him skills he brings into his Trust work — especially when it comes to strategy, organisation, and building partnerships across the community.

He still lives in South Yorkshire with his family, including his young sons, Jack and Harrison, who are already well on their way to becoming proud members of the blue-and-white family.

Otto Brookes

Otto is a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Bristol. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Bristol and a BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Warwick. Before undertaking his doctorate, he worked as a Research & Development Consultant at KPMG between 2015 and 2019.

Otto has been actively involved with the Trust for the past couple of years as co-director of its protest movement, alongside Jake Lee. His involvement is driven by a deep love for Sheffield Wednesday and a shared frustration, felt by many supporters, about the club’s direction in recent years.

He believes the Trust is the most effective vehicle for delivering positive, fan-led change at Sheffield Wednesday and is committed to contributing his skills and passion to that collective effort.
