So, there is finally a statement from Dejphon Chansiri after the deafening silence of the past two months. Yet, fans are still left without answers regarding the desperate situation at the club. Instead, we are presented with detailed self-justification about how Mr. Chansiri feels he has been misrepresented, along with some laughable claims about how he is “looking after” the club.
The questions he should be answering are these:
- Is there any real chance that you will sell the club in the immediate future?
- Do you have funding in place to complete the season?
- When will the players be paid for May?
- Will staff and players be paid for June?
- Will HMRC and the VAT bill be paid?
- What is happening with Danny Röhl?
- What is happening with the coaching staff?
- What is going on with the training ground?
- On what grounds are you challenging the charges from the EFL?
- Can you fund the works required by the Council on the North Stand?
- Did you personally delay works on the North Stand past the point of no return for this season?
- What is happening with the club’s kit and merchandising deals?
We want to send a message directly to Dejphon Chansiri:
You are the one killing the joy of supporting a football club for tens of thousands of people.
Spend some time today responding to the real questions fans are asking.
Stop blaming others and take responsibility.
You are killing the club, not saving it.
Just sell.
